Iyengar yoga classes in Newbury
I teach 3 weekly evening classes, a Saturday morning class (approximately fortnightly) and occasional workshops. I have a fully equipped yoga studio at home where 2 of the classes and the workshops take place.
The practice of yoga is a powerful antidote to the stresses and strains of modern day life. A stronger and more supple body can be developed through the practice of easy to follow postures which work on all the bodily systems improving overall health. The benefits of yoga however, extend beyond the physical; calming the mind, improving concentration and increasing the ability to deal with tension. It is a complete system for personal development and aims to unite the body, mind and spirit for health and fulfilment.
I have been fully trained and qualified in the Iyengar method of teaching yoga which is an extremely comprehensive, safe and effective system suited to our Western psychology and lifestyle.
